Getting my Hands on Film Camera

In attempts to slow_myself_down_away_from_digital_life, I am getting my hands on film camera. Yes, the kind of camera where you need to put the film roll in and then start snapping. If you are lucky, the pictures will turn up good but if not then we let the fate decide. This is not my first rodeo on using film camera, but it definitely the first ever to buy the film and develop it using my own money. It is not cheap, which I know.  What can I say, it's an expensive hobby.  I used my first film roll to take photos of my favorite people. So it has more human than random pictures. It was on family event. After the last shot, I wanted to develop it before I flew to Bali but they had no lab. Luckily we have the lab in Bali. I developed and scanned the film in Ojisanfilmlab Bali. They're just a google away. They sell the roll as well. I had to tell the TSA to do the hand checking rather putting it through the scanner. An iPad #2

Masih inget ndak soal si adek kecil yang pengen banget punya iPad dan berniat mendapatkannya dengan cara ngomong bahasa inggris sama si mas? Minggu kemaren saya skype sama si mas. Seperti biasa dong ngobrol sana sini ngalor ngidul begitu, eh tiba-tiba  dia nanya "Cimi mana?", jadilah manggil si adek. Ndak taunya si adek semangat banget mau skype. Ndak tau kenapa dia sering juga minta skype duluan ke mas

Kita jadi share headset tho, salam pertama seperti biasa "Hai iPad". Si mas itu laki kok ya dipanggil iPad -_-, gitu ya si mas bales panggilnya "Hey miss iPad". Alamakk mereka cocok sama gilanya. Nah karena syaratnya itu harus bisa ngobrol bahasa inggris aktif, jadilah si adek mulai ngobrol. dia bilangnya begini :

adek : What do you like breakfast? *prasaan yang bener bukan begini ya*
mas : ohh pecel *bilang pecel ala aksen bule*
adek : Hah? ngomong apa mbak?
aku : pecelllll
adek : ohh pecel. what do you like drink?
mas : I like coffee
adek : ohh kopi. what do you like singer? *makin ngaco*
mas : what??
aku : kamu mau nanya apa? kamu suka nyanyi apa kamu adalah penyanyi?
adek : suka nyanyi mbakkk
aku : do you like singing dekk
adek : ok, do you like singing?
mas : *buffering, tiba-tiba manggil nama si adek* hey Simi!!!
adek : Cimi, not Simi
mas : *buffering* sorry cant hear you
aku : she is complaining, her name is Cimi not Simi
mas : Ahh I see... Simi... blablablabla
adek : *si adek bufferingnya udah level dewa*  mbakk, aku nggak paham. udah wes ya, bingung aku. bye
aku : hyahhhhh nyerahh dia

Kita berdua lanjut ngobrol, si adek kecil tiba-tiba berantem sama si adek yang satunya.

Taking a Train from Moscow City to Yaroslavky

walking to the wagon We chose deliberately in the winter to travel from Moscow to Yaroslavsky. In my defense, we kinda had to use the holiday a little bit. If we're waiting for the good weather, it probably not gonna happen for 3 months and then nothing again. So this trip was taken on February 2026. So we've decided to take a few days off going from Moscow to half of the golden ring. The name ring, means literally ring. Refers to a few cities that used to be very important in the past. Starting from Moscow city (where which we're coming from, technically). I have to mention the cities here anyway; Sergiyev Posad, Pereslavl Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Vladimir, and Suzdal. there will be info about the train  We took the train trip from Moscow. Gampangnya Apply e-visa Rusia

Red square Jadi, WNI diberi kemudahan untuk ke Rusia. Cukup dengan apply e-visa yang bisa didapatkan dalam hitungan hari saja. Meskipun sudah sering apply e-visa, tapi e-visa Rusia ini agak unik formulirnya. Jadi sebelum apply, gw baca gimana caranya di sini yang amat sangat runtut dan mudah dipahami. Sebelum isi formulir online, ada baiknya siapkan foto 3.5 x 4.5 dengan background putih dulu. Setelah itu jangan lupa untuk beli asuransi. Karena agak kepikiran, gw putuskan untuk beli asuransi dari perusahan yang ada di sana. Asuransi yang gw beli dari sini . Tadinya setelah beli kok nggak ada info apapun, bahkan bukti bayar pun nggak ada. Tapi petugasnya cukup tangkas setelah gw email, gw langsung dapat asuransinya. Nomer asuransi diperlukan untuk mengisi formulir, jadi harus beli asuransi sebelum apply visa.  Nah, bagi gw, ini formulir baru kali ini dapat pertanyaan yang unik-unik semacam apakah pernah pelatihan militer, wajib militer, pernah pegang / punya senjata, bahkan sampai ...
