Sepatu Winter Pertama

Moscow Dulu, masih sempet pakai sepatu dengan hak 5 cm waktu kerja kantoran. Ya karena harus keliatan formal aja sih, meskipun nggak ada yang ngelarang juga kalau mau sepatu sneakers pun. Toh juga waktu kerja sepatu dilepas dan pakai sendal jepit.  Tapi itu sudah lama sekali. Setelahnya, bertahun-tahun hanya punya 1 sepatu sneakers dan 1 sandal. Sendal jepit punya lah ya, kan hidup di Bali. Salah satu esensial itu. Sebenernya alesannya sederhana, bukan karena nggak mau punya sepatu lebih dari satu tapi lebih ke males harus nyocokin sepatu lagi ke kaki yang belum tentu enak dipakainya.  Sepatu itu adalah hal esensial yang buat gw nggak apa mahal yang penting nyaman. Karena taruhannya di pijakan, dan itu bisa berdampak ke banyak hal kalau salah pilih sepatu. Jalan kaki adalah bagian besar dari hidup gw, jadi punya sepatu nyaman adalah hal yang tidak bisa dinego.  Nah, meskipun gw beberapa kali pernah jalan-jalan saat musim dingin, Moskow ini agak beda. Integrity and Honesty

Lembongan dan Ceningan

Few days ago I picked up my husband from the airport. It was raining a lot so I had to go by taxi. We went through airport toll which I paid with my card. Then when we arrived, I gave him 20K for parking that cost actually 12k. Doesn't matter I give it with tip. So I didnt ask for change. 

A few mins later I noticed a notification that said I got charged for 14K, the price for toll. I usually never notice any notification but that day was different. So I chatted him asking why am I being charged for toll that I paid myself. He said, and I quote, “oh that is automatically done by the app.”

I checked on the app website it said that the app will automatically charge you toll price when the route it takes show that you’re going through a toll. Then I thought, “ah yea maybe he couldn’t change it.” So I told him, “alright sir then I will report it to the app so they can easily help me to refund the money.”

You know what he said, “no please don’t mam. I will refund you the money myself.”

“Alright then please do.”

I checked on the app’s website it is true that the app will automatically charge you for toll when you’re going through the toll road BUT there is a big but there. If the passenger paid the toll themselves then you have to put it to null. That means you have to check it before you click finish the trip. 

So this is a human error or he did it on purpose. Mind you he didn’t even bothered to give me change of parking money I gave him. 

Long story short, he transferred me back 20K which looked more but isn’t. If I wanna be stingy, I will ask him more the 2k. So I said thank you, gave him 5 stars and 5K as a tip. Hadn’t he lied to me he would have 8k as tip instead of 7k. 

The thing is, I don't mind the change of parking that he didn’t give me back in the beginning because I wanted that money as his tip. What I do mind is he stole my money. Doesn’t matter the nominal, I don’t like him taking my little money on my back. It is my money, not his to take. No integrity is what set me off.

You know another amazing thing happened on the same day? I went back home using the same app with different driver, took the same toll with my own card, same case basically. Once we arrived home he showed me, “so mam here’s the toll that it charges you, I will put this to zero, but I will charge you for parking 12k. Correct?”

So that’s how they should do his job. Honestly. As if I was shown that I did the right thing with previous driver.

Tentukan Jangka Waktu Investasi

Seperti Ganesha bukan? Dewa ilmu pengetahuan dan lambang kecerdasan. Favorit gw. Tapi ini speaker sih 😆   "Aku mau investasi" "Oke bentuknya apa dan berapa lama?" "Hmm ya pokoknya apa lah yang cocok buatku" Ya you kira I dukun? Selain menentukan profil resiko , acara yang perlu untuk dipikirkan adalah menentukan berapa lama jangka waktu investasi. Ada yang membagi kedalam dua kategori yaitu pendek dan panjang, ada pula yang membaginya ke tiga kategori yaitu jangka pendek, menengah, dan panjang. Nah kebutuhan ini hanya investor yang tahu. Tentunya tiap orang nggak bisa disamakan kebutuhannya.  Jangka pendek biasanya berkisar tidak lebih dari 5 tahun. Biasanya deposito dan obligasi dimasukkan dalam kategori ini. Biasanya yang jangka pendek ini selalu mendapat return pasti, karena selalu pasti jadi resikonya sangat rendah sekali. Getting my Hands on Film Camera

In attempts to slow_myself_down_away_from_digital_life, I am getting my hands on film camera. Yes, the kind of camera where you need to put the film roll in and then start snapping. If you are lucky, the pictures will turn up good but if not then we let the fate decide. This is not my first rodeo on using film camera, but it definitely is the first ever to buy the film and develop it using my own money. It is not cheap, which I know.  What can I say, it's an expensive hobby.  I used my first film roll to take photos of my favorite people. So it has more human than random pictures. It was on family event. After the last shot, I wanted to develop it before I flew to Bali but they had no lab. Luckily we have the lab in Bali. I developed and scanned the film in Ojisanfilmlab Bali. They're just a google away. They sell the roll as well. I had to tell the TSA to do the hand checking rather putting it through the scanner.
